The first android power Nokia smart phone has been announced under an agreement with HMD Global. Nokia comes back in the mobile market with the launch of a new android smart phone Nokia 6. Initially it was announced that Nokia 6 would only be available in China. Launching in China opens up a number of interesting dynamics in mobile market. However, leaked documents unveil the possibility that it might launch in other regions as well.
Representing the modern design ethics of smart phones, the Nokia 6 comes up with a 5.5 inch touch screen display featuring 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of onboard storage that can be expanded up to 128 GB via a microSD support and a 16 MP rear facing camera and 8 megapixel front shooter for capturing selfies. It’s a dual SIM device with connectivity options including GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, USB OTG and FM. Moreover, sensors on Nokia 6 include Compass Magnetometer, proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor and Gyroscope. The handset is a monoblock form sculpted from a single piece of aluminum with the highest level of visual and structural quality.
Everyone knows that Nokia had been one of the best known mobile phone Company but since the inception of iPhone in 2007 and android smart phones, its fortune left behind. To grew in smart phone world, the company then started to opt for Microsoft’s ill fated Windows mobile operating system for its Lumia smart phones.
HMD has also claimed to launch more products in the first half of 2017. According to Nokia’s official Facebook page Nokia mobile has said that more announcements to follow on February 26, 2017 the date of MWC. The launch of Nokia 6 in China first is a reflection of the desire to meet the real world needs of consumers in different markets throughout the world. A lot more is yet to come by Nokia.
