When it comes to the design, Samsung Galaxy S9 is going to be similar to the Galaxy S8. It still has thin-bezel design with rolling metal and glass chassis. Additionally, Samsung is keeping its fingerprint scanner on the back of the new Samsung Galaxy S9. From the leaked images, it is quite obvious that scanner is going to be just under the camera.
The screen also looks exactly like Samsung Galaxy S8. The new mobile will have a 5.8 inch super AMOLED screen with QHD+ infinity display and a 1440 x 2960 resolution. The Galaxy S9+ will have a 6.2 inch Super AMOLED QHD+ Infinity Display with the same resolution.
The most highlight feature of the new smartphone seems to be its 12 MP dual-aperture sensor. The phone is able to change the camera’s power depending on the conditions. Samsung Galaxy S9 will take superb low light photos as well as capture bright footage.
The real boost in battery life will be seen with the improved CPU inside with 3000 mAh power pack. It means it should last easily over a day.
The smartphone will be available in four colors including Midnight Black, Titanium Grey, Coral Blue and Lilac Purple. Samsung has replaced white versions of its devices.
With the rumored powerful specs, Galaxy S9 is expected to have 30% improved power with 4GB of RAM inside and Samsung Galaxy S9+ with 6GB of storage. It will be powered by the Qualcomm snapdragon 845 and rest of the world Samsung’s own Exynos 9810 chipset.
Samsung Galaxy S9 might also have animated emoji where faces are turned into cartoons as response to Apple’s Animoji.
The new smartphone will also come up with IP68 level water and dust resistance. It means that there will be no damage to your phone if it stays in water for about half an hour.
Samsung Galaxy S9 price in Singapore starts from SGD 1,319. This would be a 5% increase in price as compared to Samsung Galaxy S8 which was launched at SGD 1,148.
Samsung Galaxy S9 is going to be a power packed smartphone with the waterproof body and quick charging support. The display quality, cameras and battery back-up are amazing.
